Aims and Scope

African Journal of Philosophy and Religious Studies ISSN 1621-4587 is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal covering all aspects of philosophy and religious studies. The journal accepts articles dealing with religious beliefs, behaviors, and institutions, particularly articles that describes, compares, interprets, and explains religion, emphasizing systematic, historically based, and cross-cultural perspectives.

Articles that draw upon multiple disciplines and their methodologies including anthropology, sociology, psychology, philosophy, linguistics, economics and history of religion are considered. The journal also considers articles on the general and fundamental questions about existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language. Other investigations closely related to art, science, politics, are welcome.
