Aims and scope

African Journal of Agricultural Marketing ISSN 2375-1061 is a peer-reviewed open access journal devoted to reporting the latest advances in agricultural marketing.

The journal considers articles dealing with all the services involved in moving an agricultural product from the farm to the consumer. Therefore, manuscripts concerned with the planning, organizing, directing and handling of agricultural produce in such a way as to satisfy farmers, intermediaries and consumers, are particularly welcome. Also, articles dealing with all interconnected activities involved in this process such as production, growing and harvesting, grading, packing and packaging, transport, storage, agro- and food processing, provision of market information, distribution, advertising and sale are considered.

African Journal of Agricultural Marketing also accept manuscripts dealing with the entire range of supply chain operations for agricultural products, whether conducted through ad hoc sales or through a more integrated chain, such as one involving contract farming.

The goal of this journal is to provide a viable platform for scientists and researchers all over the world to promote, share, and discuss novel issues and perspectives in diverse areas of the subject and to keep track of the most recent methodological and theoretical developments in the discipline. All submissions are blind reviewed and those accepted are published online either immediately or at the earliest opportunity.
