Aims and Scope

African Journal of Immunology Research ISSN 9431-5833 is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes research in all areas of immunology. The journal publishes novel and innovative findings in all areas of experimental immunology, including innate and adaptive immunity, inflammation, host defense, clinical immunology, autoimmunity and more. 

The journal also considers articles from all aspects of the immune system in all organisms, including the physiological functioning of the immune system in states of both health and disease; malfunctions of the immune system in immunological disorders (autoimmune diseases, hypersensitivities, immune deficiency, transplant rejection); the physical, chemical and physiological characteristics of the components of the immune system in vitro, in situ, and in vivo.

The journal also publishes original articles in molecular, cellular, tissue-level, organismal, functional, and developmental aspects of the immune system as well as clinical studies and animal models of human diseases.
